William Julius Jason Adkins, 41, of Lake, WV, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 6, 2022.
Jason was born on January 10, 1981, the son of Brenda Adkins Farris of Lake, WV, and the late William H. Adkins, Jr.
Jason pursued many jobs but the one he loved the most was working as a trucker, driving the big coal trucks. He was raised attending the Lake Holiness Church, and that was his home church. He was an accomplished guitar player and a very good singer. He loved the outdoors, being in the mountains, hunting for ginseng, and going fishing with his children. Jason was a big cut-up, and he absolutely loved to laugh, joke around, pick at others, and play pranks. He was a very fun and loving person to be around. A family man, his family was everything to him.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents.
Those left to cherish his memory are Crystal Blankenship; Tammy Adkins; his mother and step-father, Brenda (William) Farris; one daughter, Kaylee Nicole Craddock (Michael) of Lake, WV; two sons, Jordan Nicholas Adkins and Cameron Austin Adkins; one sister, Julie Adkins of Danville, WV; four special aunts, Tiny Miller, Mary Craddock, Anita Hunter Toler (Jimmy), and Glenita Blankenship (Mike).
The family wishes to thank everyone for your prayers and thoughtfulness during this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chapmanville, WV.
