Obituary

 Wetzel Lee Mullins 79 of Crooked Creek, WV passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 after an extended illness at CAMC Memorial Division at Charleston, WV.  He was born February 20, 1941 at Ferrellsburg, WV, the son of the late Jasper and Bessie Brewster Mullins.

Wetzel owned and operated Advance Machining & Hydraulics Inc for over 40 years where he became a pillar of the community.  He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman where he cherished spending his time with family and friends. Wetzel was a devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. He was also a member of the Crooked Creek Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Beloved Second Wife: Georgetta Mullins; Brother: Philip Mullins; First Wife and Mother of his Children: Stella Mullins; and Brother-In-Law: Ted Tue.

Wetzel is survived by his Children: Brenda Nelson and David (Nancy) Mullins; Step-Children: Fred (Amy) Teasley and Jason (Amber) Teasley; Grandchildren: Chris (Jessica) Mullins, Sydney (Grayson) Nelson, Sarah (Logan) Mullins, Laikyn Teasley, and Makenzie Teasley; Siblings: Mike (Pam) Mullins, Roger (Trish) Mullins, and Carol Tue; Sister-In-Law: Susie Mullins; Special Sons and Friends: Todd McDonald and Tim Nelson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins along with a host of family and friends.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV with Ralph Perry officiating.  Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV.

Pallbearers will be Ed Stapleton, Todd McDonald, Cardale Baisden, John Hall, Logan Wakham, and Grayson Bowen.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Mullins, Roger Mullins, Tom Hall, Roy “Shorty” McComas, and Herman Gillenwater.

The funeral service will be live-streamed on the Evans Funeral Home Facebook page for family and friends unable to attend in person.

Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV are in charge of the arrangements.
