Versia Berry

Versia Berry, 89, of Chapmanville, WV, went to be with our Lord Friday, January 14, 2022, at Heritage Nursing home in Huntington, WV.

Born November 5, 1932, at Ethel, WV, the daughter of the late Berkley and Ollie Cheek.

 In addition to her parents, Versia is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie R. Berry and a daughter, Linda Berry Hart.

She is survived by her children: Sue Livingston (Don) of Barboursville, WV, Lonnie R. Berry, Jr., (Delcia), and Bo Berry (Christina) both of Chapmanville, WV; 7 grandchildren, Don, Jr., Cheryl, Alex, Chase, Lonnie Lee, Dara, and Drew; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren.

Versia was a homemaker and enjoyed going to church.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, WV, with her grandson, Lonnie Lee Berry officiating.

Following the services, she will be lovingly laid to rest beside her husband.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chapmanville, WV.
