Uldine "Dean" Fraley

Uldine “Dean” Fraley, 90, of Henlawson, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 26, 2022, leaving from Dignity Assisted Living in Chapmanville, WV.

Born April 18, 1931, at Kanawha County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Watt and Doris Morgan Spurlock.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Fraley; one son, Allen Fraley; and one daughter-in-law, Darith Fraley.

Dean, as she was affectionately known, was a devoted Christian and member of the Trinity Freewill Baptist Church at Henlawson, WV. Her favorite thing to do was cook, and she loved being in the kitchen. It had been known that she was considered the best cook in Logan County. She was also a professional shopper.

Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Barbara Fraley Booth and her husband, Jack of Bonneau, SC; one son, Kenneth Fraley, II, of Henlawson, WV; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Additionally, she leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Roscoe Chafin officiating.

Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
