Toney Aleman

Toney Aleman, 88, of Holden, WV, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV.

Born June 9, 1935, at Omar, WV, he was the son of the late Isabel Aleman and Antonia Estrada Aleman Valero.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Frankie Aleman and Johnny Aleman; and two sisters, Mary Drake and Angie Moreno.

Toney worked in construction.

Survivors include his children, Dario, Carlos, Mario, Maranda, Lisa, Andrea, and Toney, Jr.; 18 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Val Valero and Manuel Valero; and two sisters, Mary Lou (Harold) Workman and Stella Whitt. Additionally, Toney leaves behind several nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2023, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Roscoe Chafin officiating.

Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
