Tom B. Farley

Tom B. “Benny” Farley, 61, of Monaville, WV, was born on May 1, 1959, at Logan, WV, a son of the late Tom and Ruth Farley. He went to be with the Lord on Tuesday December 8, 2020, at Pikeville Medical Center, following a sudden illness.

Tom’s livelihood was working throughout Southern WV as a master mechanic. He was a proud member of Central United Baptist Church. He was also a 32nd degree mason and a member of the O’Brien Lodge No. 101 A.F. & A.M. in Williamson, WV. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a proud grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry and Jim Tom Farley.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Brenda Farley; daughters: Kristen Farley of TN, Farrah Farley of Delbarton, WV, and Ashley (Jeremy) Stapleton of Charleston, WV; son, Josh (Candace) Castle of Jacksonville, NC; brother, Jim David (Rhonda) Farley of Bluefield, WV; sister, Illa Jean Duty of Baltimore, OH; and sister-in law, Phyllis (Jack) Doty; nephews: Jack Doty, III, and Jonathan (Tory) Doty; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild who were the light of his life and brought him great joy.

A private ceremony will be conducted at 12 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2020, at Central United Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Skeens, Rev. Lonnie Gore, and Brother Larry Brammer officiating. Live streaming of the service will be available through the Central United Baptist Church Facebook Page. Burial will follow in the Lambert Cemetery at Ferrellsburg.

Pallbearers will be men of the church.
