Terry Lee Adkins, 69, of Owensboro, KY, peacefully passed Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  He is now in the arms of his Heavenly Father.

Terry was born September 20, 1954, in Logan County, WV, a son of the late Charles and Vivian Baisden Adkins.

Terry is survived by two sisters, Pearlie (Kenneth) Pack of Owensboro, KY, and Tammy (Bryan) Pipkin of Vero Beach, Florida; one brother, Charles “Ronnie” (Gail) Adkins of Henlawson, WV. Terry also had a beloved family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends that will miss him dearly.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by two sisters, Sandra Browning and Violet Snell.

Terry loved trains, helicopters, whirly birds, animals, watching TV/movies, and superheroes, specifically Super Man!  He was humble, pleasant, and enjoyed being with the ones he loved.     

Visitation and funeral services will be held in Terry’s honor on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Evans Funeral Home in Chapmanville, WV.  Visitation begins at  noon with funeral services following at 1:00 PM with Pastor Donnie Wells officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV, where Terry will be lovingly laid to rest beside his sister, Sandra. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
