Terry Joe Price, 67, of Peytona, WV, departed this life on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV.

He was born August 31, 1958, at Madison, WV, a son of the late Daymon and Golden Price.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Linda, Eadie, and Carol; and his brothers, Jake and Bo Price of Drawdy, WV. 

He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Brenda Price; his stepson, Bobby (Monica) Vickers of Bluffton, SC; his step grandchildren, Zack, Justin, Madison, Jackson, Bella, Erin, and Navy Mae; along with his sisters, Barb Miller and Janie Baisden; his nieces & nephews, Scottie, Missy, Terri, Wyatt, Beth, Abby, Mattie, and Harleigh and the rest of the beautiful family he was apart of. 

Being a 1976 graduate from Sherman High School, he didn’t stray too far from home and resided in his home town of Drawdy. Working over 30 years at Shamblin Stone, he was always on the go with a new project or going to a car show. He loved his old Chevelles and Corvettes, of course owning a few over the years. 

He was more than just an uncle to many of his family, he was a father and grandfather figure to many of them. After the passing of his brother-in-law, Douglas Baisden, he took the role of grandfather for his nieces Beth and Mattie, always showing up for them no matter the day or time and always being their shoulder to cry on. He will always be known as “their Joe”. 

There was never a day he wasn’t appreciative of the Lord and his beautiful wife. Wherever she was, he was never too far behind. The love they shared between each other could be seen by a stranger after just a short conversation. Brenda was the love of his life, and there was never a day he didn’t show it. Joe was never afraid to share his love and devotion of Christ. Knowing this has brought a lot of peace to his friends and loved ones. 

Services will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Drawdy Church of Christ from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Stevie Cox will be officiating the service.
