Tammy Sue Rowe “Sissy”

Sissy passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2026. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Louise Rowe; her sister, Tena Franklin; her paternal grandparents, Tom and Hattie Rowe; and her maternal grandparents, James Gullett and Bertie Mae White (D. Ray White).  

Tammy is survived by her children: Michael Thomas Lovejoy, Destiny Dawn Lovejoy, Cody Allen Lovejoy, Kayleah Dawn Lovejoy, and Madison Danielle Green, her grandsons Coal Thomas Lovejoy, Cage Eric Lovejoy, and Braxton Michael Harris. She’s also survived by her three brothers Norman (Kay) Cook, Edward (Christy) Rowe, and Tootie (Tamus) Rowe. 

We invite you to join us in honoring the life of Sissy. 

A gathering will be held on March 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. with the Pastor Phil Rowe officiating. 

Location: Browns Branch Freewill Baptist Church located at 5633 Chap Road, Gordon, WV 25093. 

Sissy will be cremated. Evans Funeral Home in Chapmanville, WV, is in charge of the arrangements.
