Tamera Leah “Tammy” Dingess, 63, of Chapmanville, WV, gained her wings on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, WV.

She was born July 8, 1959, at Man, WV, to the late Charles and Wanda Rhodes Goff.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Dingess; and one nephew, David Kinser.

Tammy worked as an LPN for many years until retirement. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. In her spare time, Tammy enjoyed reading and spending time with her two girls and her grandchildren. She also loved watching Hallmark movies.

Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved toy poodle, Bam Bam; two daughters, Nicki (Dallas Lambert) Goff of Logan, WV, and Amanda (Ronald Smith) Dingess of Big Ugly, WV; her grandchildren, Tyler Moore, Hunter Lambert, Josh Bryant, and Kaylee (Josh Ball) Bryant; one adopted grandson, Cody Gardner; four siblings, Mary (Terry) Kinser of Baisden, WV, Lawrence Goff of Kermit, WV, Randall (Jan) Goff of Virginia, and Roger (Audrey Stewart) Goff of Man, WV; one special friend, Vickie Curnutte. Tammy also leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, where funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. with Pat Kinser officiating.

To honor Tammy’s wishes, she will be cremated following the service.
