Sue Frances Bragg, of Amherstdale, WV, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by family.
She was born October 25, at Johnson County, KY, a daughter of the late Jim and Callie Mollett Robinson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Delores Johnston, Geraldine Bunch, and Ann Trogdon; two brothers, Calvin Robinson and Jerry Robinson; two nephews, Larry Johnston and Rick Trogdon; and two nieces, Kathy Bunch Maynard and Becky Lynn Robinson.
She dedicated herself to creating a home that was a sanctuary of comfort and happiness for her family. Her role as a homemaker was one she took great pride in, and she excelled in nurturing a household that was both welcoming and full of life. Sue's love for her grandchildren knew no bounds. She was their most enthusiastic supporter, never missing a chance to cheer them on at their sporting events. A woman of many interests, Sue had a passion for reading and cooking. She also found great joy in babysitting, a role that allowed her to extend her nurturing touch beyond her immediate family. Sue’s unwavering dedication to her family, her passion for life's simple pleasures, and her kind and generous heart will be her lasting legacy.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kenny Bragg; her daughter, Angie (Steve) Burnette; her son, Charles (Brandy) Havens; her grandchildren, Eric (Allison) Burnette, Chase Burnette, Jared Burnette, Chad Burnette, Chelsea Havens, Allison Havens, and Matthew Havens; her great-grandchildren, Palmer and Presleigh Burnette; and one brother, Jimmy (Joyce) Robinson. Additionally, Sue leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.
To honor Sue’s wishes, her remains have been cremated, and there will be no services.
