Steven Edward Sabo

Steven Edward Sabo, 55, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Friday, April 12, 2024, at his residence.

He was born November 16, 1968, at Logan, WV, a son of the late William “Bill” and Virginia McNeely Sabo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Teresa Adkins; and one brother, Charles Sabo.

Steven was a cherished father, avid fisherman, and friend to many. He lived a life full of joy, laughter, and the simplicity of nature. His love for his son was evident in the time they spent together. Those who knew Steven will remember his warm smile, his infectious laugh, and the kindness he extended to all.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved son, Dakota (Anna Pack) Sabo of Ethel, WV; two brothers, Bryan (Shirley) Sabo of Man, WV, and William “Peanut” (Vontella) Sabo, Jr., of Pecks Mill, WV; his former wife and mother of his son, Deb Sabo of Ethel, WV; his mother-in-law, Pat Mills of Ethel, WV; and one special cousin, Barbara Conn Sammons. Additionally, Steven leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.

To honor Steven’s wishes, his remains will be cremated, and there will be no services.
