Sharon Kay Eldridge, 69, of Danville, WV, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at her residence.
She was born January 7, 1954, at Fairborn, OH, the daughter of the late William James Barker and Ina Fultz Barker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Kay Daum; one brother, Larry James Barker; and three Rita Fay Barker, Sherri Lynn Barker, and Marie Adkins.
Sharon was a homemaker and a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who cherished the time spent with her family above all else. She had a knack for crafting and decorating, a passion she pursued with great enthusiasm. Her creativity could be seen in her stunning crafts and beautifully decorated home, which was always inviting and warm. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Leonard Eldridge; one daughter, Paula Jean Pike, and her companion, David Workman of Chapmanville, WV; two grandsons Dyllan James DeSantie (Macee Reeves) and Joseph Michael Sershon (Brittany Ann Huey); and 17 great-grandchildren. Additionally, Sharon leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.
To honor Sharon's wishes, her remains will be cremated, and there will be no services.
