Sada Jean Scaggs (maiden: Hinkle), 82, beloved wife of Clinton Scaggs passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Legacy of North Royalton in Ohio. 

Sada was step mother to Norma Jean Conley-Smith (Danny – deceased), mother to Derik Harmon, Gina Scaggs-Landes, Todd Scaggs (Michelle), Miranda Kovac (Todd), and Adoptive parent to Christopher Scaggs (Karie).  Dear grandmother to 8 and great-grandmother to 7. 

She loved to help make people feel beautiful by cutting their hair and attained state board licensure as a Hair Dresser while living in Parma, Ohio.  She also took classes to learn to decorate cakes and loved to bake and decorate cakes for family and friends on special occasions.

Visitation will start at Evans Funeral Home on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. for family and from 12:00 p.m. until service starts at 1:00 p.m. for friends and family. Burial will follow in the Scaggs Family Cemetery at Chapmanville, WV.
