Ruby Brumfield age 76 of Harts, departed this life on October 27, 2021 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Danville. Born in Harts, WV, on April 24, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Caroline and Charlie Tomblin, the devoted wife of the late Everett Brumfield and the sister of the late Otis Tomblin.
She always spread joy through laughter and never met a stranger. In her pastime she enjoyed chatting with friends and family on the phone and watching her treasured Wheel of Fortune.
Those left to cherish her memory include two beloved daughters, Carol (Paul) Adams of Harts and Cindy (Tony) Haynes of Eldersburg MD; two cherished grandchildren, Carson Haynes and Kimberly (Terry) Conley; two precious great grandchildren, Ryli Conley and Berkli Conley. She also touched countless other lives and had many friends in the community.
Ruby will best be remembered as the life of the party.
The family would like to acknowledge Brenda Martin and Brenda Tomblin for their infinite kindness and support during these final years. The family would also like to thank her devoted caregivers at Hillcrest Health Care who ensured she was always well cared for.
Services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Evans Funeral Home with Preacher Terry Conley officiating. Burial will follow at the Robertson Cemetery near her home at Harts.

Pallbearers will be Richard “Peep” Adkins, Paul Adams, Tony Haynes, Jerry Martin, Jeff Rakes and Josh Thompson
