Roy Dale Williams

Roy Dale Williams, 74, of Big Creek, WV, born August 28, 1946, at Logan, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 4, 2021.

He was a son of the late Roy Williams and Elzina Kelly Johnston. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Charlette Williams; and one brother, Troy Lee Williams.

Mr. Williams was a retired coal miner.

He is survived by two children: Richard Dale (Donna) Williams of Dingess, WV, and Garnett Marie Burger of Big Creek, WV; three grandchildren: Jessica (Curtis) Wiley of Holden, WV, Richard Williams of Dingess, WV, and Caleb Damron of Big Creek, WV; two great-grandchildren: Hayden Lee Wiley and Harlen Ike Wiley; four sisters: Evelyn Ashworth and Wanda Sue Whitt both of Chapmanville, WV, Edna Dean Johnson of Logan, WV, and Alice Marie (Denver) Lowe of Alabama; two brothers: Leonard Ray (Valerie) Williams of Holden, WV, and Billy R. (Delilah) Williams of Chapmanville, WV. Additionally, he also leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.

To honor his wishes, his remains will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
