Rose Marie Killen, 63, of Logan, WV, was born on October 20, 1957, at Roanoke, Virginia, the daughter of the late Clarence and JoAnn Farris Kesler. She departed this life on Thursday, November 26, 2020, at Logan Regional Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Donna Kesler and mother-in-law Arbutus Killen.
Mrs. Killen retired from the Logan County Board of Education after serving 35 years. A loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, she was a friend to everyone she met and was always willing to help people.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Doug Killen; three children: Dougie (Tammy) Killen, Lori Killen, and Billy (Kelli) Killen; grandchildren: Tyler (Ashley) Killen, Erica (Tristan) Killen, Taylor Killen, Austin Killen, Courtney Lester, Obinna Killen, Fidelis Killen, Christopher (Meagan) Browning, Sidnie (Jeremy) Rorrer, Haelli Killen, and Hannah Killen; great-grandchildren: Aiden Browning, Nolan Browning, and Preston Rorrer; one sister, Rita (TD) Caldwell; two brothers: James Kesler and Ronnie (Donna) Kesler; special niece, Jessica Caldwell; father-in-law, Ray Killen; sister-in-law, Tammy (Raymond) Booth and their daughter, Deanna (Jeff) Pauley; one uncle, Harold (Naomi) Ward; her beloved canine pet, Cookie; several nieces and nephews along with a host of family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Monday, November 30, 2020, at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, WV, with Brother Arlie Bush officiating.
