Ronnie Gene Bryant, 70, of Chapmanville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston, WV, with his loving family by his side.

He was born September 20, 1954, to the late Donald Troy Bryant and Mary Rose McColgan Marcum.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Adkins Bryant; his infant son, Zacary Wade Bryant; three brothers, Clifford Troy Bryant, Roger Dale Bryant, and David Craig Bryant; his paternal grandparents, John and Tollie Stowers Bryant; and his maternal grandparents, Thurlo and Mabel McKinney McColgan.

Ronnie loved going to auctions, swap meets, and classic car shows. He owned several antique cars through the years, and he took great pride in keeping them in pristine condition, showing them in several car shows and bringing home many trophies and ribbons for his collection.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving sisters who were his caregivers, Gaynelle Buckner and Deb (Kerry) Coleman both of Foster, WV; two brothers, Keith Bryant of Chapmanville, WV, and Donald (Katrinia) Bryant of Lake, WV; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; a special friend whom he loved like a brother, Eddie Carpenter of Lake, WV; and his very best friend, Jay Gore of Kentucky. Additionally, Ronnie leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Roscoe Chafin officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bryant Cemetery at Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
