Ronald Dale Mullins, 81, of Harts, WV, passed away April 29, 2024, at his home after an extended illness.

He was born March 20, 1943, at Harts, WV, the son of the late Orville and Dentis Mullins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a very special grandson, Kristopher Dylan on December 30, 2007; two brothers, Orville Mullins Jr., (the late Loraine) and Michael Mullins; two sisters, Viola Adams (the late Dale) and Betty Justice (the late Paul); his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Avonelle Adams; four brothers-in-law; two special nephews, Aaron Kirk and Kyle Corbin, and several other loved ones.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lana Bell; one daughter, Dena Kay “Rosebud” Barker and her husband Kenny of Mill Creek; two sons, Ronald Douglas Mullins of Harts and Danny Shane Mullins and his wife Cindi of Buckhannon; three special grandsons, Keegan Reese, Gracin Coal, and Blake William; three sisters, Carolyn Kirk (the late Robert), Joyce Blair (the late Jack), and Brenda Mullins all of Harts; two sisters-in-law, Ada Lynn (Fud) Kirk and Janie Mullins; one brother-in-law, Larry Joe Adams of Harts; and one special cousin from childhood, Adrian Mullins. Additionally, Ronald leaves behind several special nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.

Ronald was a loving husband, father, papaw, brother, and friend to all. He was a member of the Carpenters Union for 30 years. His favorite pastime activities included hunting, gardening, woodworking, tending his apple trees, and cooking. He was a member of the Mountaineer Missionary Baptist Church where he had previously served as deacon.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Bro. Adrian Mullins, Rev. Justin Baisden, and Rev. Leroy Spurlock officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dave and Alice Dingess Cemetery at Harts, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Evans Funeral Home at Chapmanville, WV.
