Obituary
Rodney Dean Buckley, of Harts, WV, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at his home at the age of 57.
He was born July 11, 1965, at Columbus, OH, a son of the late Ernestine Dials.
Rodney is survived by his wife of 40 years, Drema Buckley; two sons, Brandon (Liz) and Corey (Ada); two daughters, Tiffany (Tehron) and Charity (Carnell); two brothers, Richard (Darla) and Donald (Debra); his father, Tracy; one grandson, Bryce; six granddaughters, Nyomi, Mia “Hope”, Alexis, Asia, Ava, and Clara “Hope”; his loving pet companion, Peanut; and his special friends, Uncle George, Bobby, Gary, Frank, Lewis, and Ruthy.
Rodney enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and four-wheeling. He enjoyed all sports, but he especially loved football and NASCAR racing. He had recently given his life to the Lord and he has went to Heaven to be with his mother, Ernestine.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2023, at his residence at 1939 Big Trace Fork Road, Harts, WV, 25524, with Ginger Dials officiating.
Burial will follow in the Johnie Adams Cemetery at Harts, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends and family may call Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2023, at his residence.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
