Roberta “Bobbi Kay” Dillon, 47, of Lake, WV, born August 31, 1975, departed this life on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at St. Mary’s Medical Center at Huntington, WV.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ray Dillon; her parental grandparents, Robert Lee Dillon and Edith Ball Dillon; maternal grandparents, Ellis Osborne and Loretta Maxine Rollins Osborne; one uncle, Cleatus Dillon; three aunts, Debra Osborne, Arbedella Dillon, and Pam Dillon; one cousin, Larry Lee Osborne who was like a brother; special friends, Kim Dillon, Kevin Dillon, and Liz Robinson.
Bobbi Kay was a softball player in the little league and in high school. She coached and served on the league softball board for years. She enjoyed spending her time on the island with her softball family.
Bobbi Kay is survived by her mother, Judith Kay Dillon; two brothers, Robert R. (Alisha) Dillon, II, and Jonathon A. Dillon; one sister, Terry Ann Dillon; nieces and nephews, Makya White, Olivia Dillon, Brody Dillon, and Brantley Dillon; five uncles, Gary Osborne, Paul Ed (Carol) Dillon, Michael (Susie) Dillon, Perry (Helen) Osborne, and Victor “Poodle” (Carol) Dillon; special family, Jim and Patty Winkler, Steve and Jamie Nichols, Craig and Beth Bowden, Seth Nichols, Brian (Savannah) Nichols, Chilindra “Chili” Nichols; and a very special best friend, Tonya (Ricky) Nelson. Additionally, Bobbi Kay leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2023, at Evans Funeral Home at Chapmanville, WV.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Billy Dees and Tiny Miller officiating.
To honor Bobbi Kay’s wishes, her remains will be cremated following the service.
