Ricky Kyle Butcher of Chapmanville, WV, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV, at the age of 61.
He was born June 24, 1960, in Logan, WV, to the late Franklin and Joann May Butcher.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Franklin Butcher, Jr.; and his father-in-law, Billy Ray Mills, Sr.
Ricky was a retired mechanic. He enjoyed his trips to Tennessee, fishing, and sitting on his porch. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 29 years, Debbie Butcher of Chapmanville, WV; one daughter, Nickkie (Casey) Hanks of Hurricane, WV; one son, Tyler Butcher of Chapmanville, WV; two sisters, Rebecca (C.W.) Cox of North Carolina and Rhonda (Randy) Blevins of Chapmanville, WV; his four grandchildren, Shyanne, Braxton, Matthew, and Brayleigh Hanks all of Hurricane, WV; his mother-in-law, Mary Mills of Oklahoma; two special sisters-in-law, Trennie (Mark) Warnock of Oklahoma and Angie Mills of Chapmanville, WV; his best friends, Jeremy (Becky) Baldwin of Lake, WV, Mike (Kelly) Aleshire of Chapmanville, WV, and Kevin (Niwana) Smith of Chapmanville, WV. Additionally, Ricky leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
To honor Ricky’s wishes, his remains will be cremated, and there will be no services.
