Rick Mullins, 38, of Vance, Alabama, formerly of Chapmanville, WV, went to Heaven at 10:12 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2022, leaving from his home, after a short, but courageous, battle with cancer.
Rick was an electrician at Warrior Coal in Brookwood, AL. When he wasn’t working, he could be found on one of many ballfields doing what he loved, coaching his girls’ softball teams and his son’s Little League teams. Rick attended Adgar Church of God.
Rick is preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom Mullins and Sue Smith, and Johnny Farley, and his uncle, Tommy Farley.
Survivors include the love of his life, his wife, Samantha (Collier)Mullins; his daughters, Kerrigan, Eden Gracie, and Paisley; and his son, Wes; his mother, Tammy Farley; his father, Rod Mullins; his brothers, Michael Mullins and Raymond Martinez; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and too many friends to name.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Greg Dalton and Jerry Mann officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dalton Cemetery at Little Harts, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Evans Funeral Home.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date in Alabama.
