Regina “Jeanie” Workman Tomblin, 64, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, WV.
She was born July 15, 1957, in Hamlin, WV, the daughter of the late Jesse J. and Edenia Richards Workman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charlie and Florence Workman of Chapmanville, WV; her maternal grandparents, Albert and Lula Richards of Harts, WV; her parents-in-law, Clabe and Tootsie Tomblin of Harts, WV; three brothers, David Workman, Joseph Workman, and Mark Workman; and one daughter, Charity Workman of Chapmanville, WV.
In addition to her husband, Mark A. Tomblin, those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Jennifer D. Eskins and Trista D. Workman Lanquist both of Chapmanville, WV; her granddaughters, Kaci Rae Evans, Jessi Belle Adams, and Lydea Hope Vannatter all of Chapmanville, WV; her grandsons, Anthony Braden Lanquist, Trey Daniel Lanquist, Jase Michael Lanquist, Bryson Anthony Workman, Joseph Ooten, Jr., and Leland Armani Lane Ooten; one great-grandson, Wyatt Hensley; one sister, Lula F. Workman Stollings; nephews, Willis Wesley (Damita) Stollings, William Wade (Amber) Stollings, Josh (Kayla) Eskins, Mark Anthony Workman, Michael Farris, Wade Stollings, Jr., Dezmond Stollings, Noah Eskins, and Ricky Joe Eskins; nieces, Dezyre Stollings, Jesslyn Workman Ivey, Christy Farris, Taylor Stollings, Kristinee Workman, Kyla Stollings, Kayleigh Eskins, and McKinley Workman; her sister-in-law and best friend, Lisa Farris. Additionally, Jeanie also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.
Jeanie enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, four-wheeling, and writing. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Jimmy Carter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Workman Family Cemetery at Chapmanville, WV. Pallbearers will be Braden Lanquist, Trey Lanquist, Clellan Hensley, Waylon Hensley, Jonathan Lanquist, Mark Workman, Michael Farris, Cade Elkins, Brandon Workman, Josh Eskins, and Donnie Manns, Jr.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
