Raymond Edward Adkins

Raymond Edward Adkins, 71, of Logan, WV, departed this life on Monday, May 31, 2021, at home, surrounded by his family. He now resides with his Heavenly family; no more sickness and no more pain.

Born November 30, 1949, at Christian County, KY, he was the son of the late Raymond Burgess Adkins and Merril Deloris Canterbury Adkins.

He was the brother of Donald Adkins, Deloris Jean Adkins, and his special sister-in-law, Linda Adkins.

Ed, as he was affectionately known, was a retired teacher. He had a love for guns, arrowheads, his family and friends, but most of all, he loved his girls.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina Williamson; two granddaughters, Amanda and Ashley Williamson; and one great-granddaughter, Haven Jade Smith.

To honor his wishes, Ed will be cremated, and a celebration of life with family and friends will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chapmanville, WV.
