Randall Lee Robinette

Randall Lee Robinette, 68, of Lyburn, WV, departed this life on Monday, October 25, 2021, from his residence.

Born November 13, 1952, at Welch, WV, he was the son of the late Cleve and Kathlene Stacy Robinette.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Terry Robinette, Jerry Dale Robinette, Tommy Robinette, and Ronnie Robinette; and one nephew, Jeff Robinette.

Randall was a proud U.S. Marine and Army Veteran, having served in the era of the Vietnam War. After faithfully and proudly serving his country, he was honorably discharged and later became a recruiter for the U.S. National Guard and was awarded as top recruiter in his first year of serving, a title in which he was also very proud. He was very strong in his Christian Faith and attended the Davy Branch Church at Lyburn, WV. In his spare time, Randall loved getting together with his friends and family, as they always brought him joy. He loved his canine companion, Zander, and his feline companion, Midnight. Randall will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory are one daughter, Kimberly Dawn Collins; one son, Kevin “Rob” Robinette; two grandchildren, Cody Skaggs and Haley Skaggs; two brothers, Joe Robinette and Larry (Kathy) Robinette; his former wife and best friend, Charlene Robinette; special friends, whom he loved dearly, Linda and Roger Wilson, Darlene and Dave Craddock, Delores Hannah, Tommy Burress, John (Nelda) Mills, and Allen Harrison; his canine companion, Zander; his feline companion, Midnight; his home health nurse, whom he thought the world of, Kelsey Jude. Additionally, he also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.

The family would like to give a special recognition and thanks to the A Team at DaVita Dialysis. 

To honor Randall’s wishes, his remains have been cremated.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Davy Branch Church at Lyburn, WV, on Saturday, November 13, 2021.
