Patricia “Pat” Sidebottom, 91, of Logan, WV, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 14, 2023.

She was born November 29, 1931, to the late Elbert and Claudia Gore of Holden.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Sidebottom of Logan; one daughter, Claudette Sidebottom of Logan; four brothers, Bill Gore, Gary Gore, Carson Gore, and Kurt Gore; and one sister, Joy (Chip) James.

Patricia was a retired Postmaster for the Logan Post Office where she served nearly 30 years.  She was also the owner and operator of the Manor Haus Bed and Breakfast in Logan for over 20 years.  She was an active member in the Logan Women’s Club and a member of the Nighbert Memorial Methodist Church. She was an incredible gardener and collector of antiques and design. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael (Brenda) Sidebottom of Charleston, WV, Kim Sidebottom of Parkersburg, WV, Bernie (Carolyn) Sidebottom of Logan, WV; her grandchildren, Eric Workman of Logan, WV, Lora (Joshua) Bowe of Nashville, TN, Mary and Ashley Sidebottom of Piney Flatts, TN,  Kristi Sidebottom of Greenville, SC, and Mark Sidebottom of Piney Flatts, TN. She is also survived by one sister, Lana Collins of Logan, WV, and one sister-in-law, Linda Gore.

Special thank you to Aleshia and James Hunter, Kathy Clemons, and Tina Cole for their unwavering love and support they showed in caring for her in her final days.

A private service will be held by the family in her honor.
