Pam Jeffrey, 71, of Van, WV, departed this life on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Boone Memorial Hospital in Madison, WV.
She was born February 16, 1955, in Baltimore, Maryland, a daughter of the late Edna M. Mick White.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Jeffrey; one sister, Rebecca Scalf; and one brother, Walt Lindsay.
Pam was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend whose love for her family was the center of her life. A retired coal miner with Bethlehem Mines, Pam was known for her strong work ethic, resilience, and caring spirit. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and especially treasured the close bond she shared with her sisters. Pam also had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved pet parrot, Austin, whom she lovingly raised for more than 30 years. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her unwavering love for those around her, and the many memories she created with family and friends throughout her life.
Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Jamie (Nicky) Adkins and David Adkins; one stepdaughter, Melissa Castor; one stepson, Brian Jeffrey; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Debbie McMicken, Kathleen Dunivan, and Libby Dingess. Additionally, Pam leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.
To honor Pam’s wishes, her remains will be cremated, and there will be no services.
