Otto Hensley

Otto Hensley, 76, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, from Boone Memorial Hospital in Madison, WV.

Born June 7, 1945, at Chapmanville, WV, he was the son of the late Noah and Erma Miller Hensley of Wheatley Branch, Chapmanville, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Luther Hensley and Elmer Hensley both of Wheatley Branch, WV; and three sisters, Illene (Chester) Day of Coco, FL, Jean (James) Workman and Avonelle (Elwood) Wilson all of Stone Branch, WV.

Otto was a coal miner.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Judy Carol Hensley of Chapmanville, WV; one son, Mark (Kristy) Hensley of Wheatley Branch, WV; one daughter, Beth (Brady) Adams of Lake Branch, Chapmanville, WV; two grandchildren, Cory Dru Van Meter of Monaville, WV, and Hannah Beth Adams of Lake Branch, Chapmanville, WV; one brother, Leroy Hensley of Wheatley Branch, WV; four sisters, Betty (Larry) Toney of Big Creek, WV, Linda Eskins of Kanawha Branch Road, Charleston, WV, Loretta (Sam) Pridemore of Striker Fork, Chapmanville, WV, and Brenda (Randy) Workman of Crawley Creek Road, Chapmanville, WV. Additionally, Otto also leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.

Private family graveside services will be held at the Adkins Cemetery at Harts, WV.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chapmanville, WV.
