In Loving Memory of Mickey A. Webb, Jr.
March 30, 1977– December 21, 2024
With deep sorrow but abiding faith, we announce the passing of Mickey A. Webb, Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and faithful servant of the Lord. Mickey passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024, at the age of 47, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on March 30, 1977, Mickey was a man of unwavering faith and boundless determination. For over many years, he worked as a coal miner, demonstrating remarkable strength, resilience, and dedication to his family and his craft. Through every shift and challenge, his faith in God sustained him, providing light in the darkest tunnels.
Mickey was a proud member of Crawley Creek Church of God, where he served faithfully. His faith was not just a part of his life but the foundation upon which he built it. He found joy in spending time with family, fishing, making jokes, and his life was a testament to kindness, humility, and love.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jaime Webb; his children, Haylee Webb, Kynlee Webb, Cade Elkins, Caitlin Adkins, and Chase Elkins, and one grandchild, Oaklynn Elkins, who were the pride and joy of his life. Mickey also leaves behind his brother, Bobby Webb; and his mother and father, Mickey Webb, Sr., and Sue Webb.
A celebration of Mickey’s life will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Crawley Creek Church of God at Chapmanville, WV, with Pastor Vivie Marcum officiating.
Burial will follow in the John and Violet Dingess Cemetery at Shively, WV. Pallbearers will be Cade Elkins, Slope Woody, Tristan Adkins, Chuck Bias, Steven Police, Bobby Webb, Creed Conley, and Eric Richards. Friends and family are welcome to join in honoring his life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crawley Creek Church of God.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Crawley Creek Church of God.
Though Mickey has left this world, his faith assures us that he is now resting in the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ. We take comfort in knowing that his legacy of love, hard work, and faith will live on in all who were blessed to know him.
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23
