Mary Francis Collins, 73, of Chapmanville, WV, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, at her residence. She was born on January 22, 1952, at Logan, WV, to Clyde and Marie Conley Curry.
Mary had a passion for family, especially for her time spent with her granddaughter. Whether cheering on Mackenzie at her games or watching her perform in plays, Mary's love and support were unwavering. Mary also cherished the quiet moments spent at home, decorating for the holidays, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. One of her favorite pastimes was taking trips to Tennessee, particularly visiting Dollywood, where she found great joy.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
She was a beloved wife to Kevin Collins, and together they shared many happy years of marriage. She is also survived by her daughter, Michele (Mark) Summerville, and her cherished granddaughter, Mackenzie Summerville, whose performances in games and plays always brought Mary immense joy and pride.
Mary will be deeply missed by her siblings: Joyce Ingram, Jackie Scaggs, Juanita Noel, Lori Workman, and Rick Curry.
She held a special place in the hearts of her family and friends, always showing love, kindness, and an ever-present warmth.
A private service will be held by the family.
Mary's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, especially her family, who were the center of her world.
