Lois Delilah Mayhorn Moses, 90, was born October 20, 1934. Heaven obtained a new angel on Saturday, June 21, 2025. She was the daughter of late Tom and Emma Bias. Lois was the mother of Thomas Mayhorn, Jacqueline Mayhorn Harrison, and Braxton Moses.
Lois Mayhorn Moses, a beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and faithful servant of the Lord, peacefully entered into eternal rest at the age of 90, just shy of her 91st birthday. She departed this life having lived nearly a full century marked by grace, strength, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.
Lois was an incredible woman whose life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and devotion. She touched countless lives through her gentle spirit, her warm heart, and her steadfast belief in the goodness of God. A woman of deep faith, Lois lived every day guided by scripture and the example of Christ. Whether she was caring for her family, comforting a friend, or praying for someone in need, she did so with humility and compassion.
Her legacy is one of kindness, perseverance, and quiet strength. She was a pillar in her community and a spiritual matriarch to those who knew her, always ready with a listening ear, a wise word, or a heartfelt prayer. To her family, she was a source of comfort and guidance—a steady hand through life's joys and challenges.
Lois's life was not measured in material wealth, but in the richness of her character, the sincerity of her faith, and the many lives she blessed along the way. Her favorite hymns and scriptures were often on her lips, and her home was filled with warmth, peace and unmistakable presence of love.
Though we grieve her passing, we rejoice in the knowledge that she is now in the presence of her Savior, whom she loved and served so faithfully. She ran the race set before her with endurance and finished well.
Lois will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire all who had the honor of knowing her. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:23
