Lindle Lee "Johnny" Conley

Lindle Lee “Johnny” Conley, born August 4, 1944, departed this life on Saturday, September 17, 2022. He was the son of the late Ezra and Eva Franklin Conley.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was self-employed for many years. Lee was a loving and caring husband, a wonderful father and grandfather, and a loyal friend.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Delois Ray and his brother, Harl Ray Conley.

He leaves behind his wife, Leah Rae Maynard Conley; one son, Mark (Trish) Conley; one daughter, Lisa Brumfield; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hinkle, Kenzi McFann, and Gabe Conley; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Tom McComas officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, WV, where Military Graveside Rites will be observed.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Stone Branch Church of God. The family would also like to thank Boone Memorial Hospital and staff for their kindness shown during this difficult time.
