Linda Sue Epperhart, 73, of Whitman, WV, departed this life on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at CAMC General Hospital at Charleston, WV.
She was born March 15, 1950, at Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Eugene “Shorty” and Ruby Adkins Epperhart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda “BK” Ferguson; one grandson, Spencer; one great-granddaughter, Aaliyah; and her long-term partner, James Edward Kazee.
Linda was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to yard sales, working puzzles, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved her animals. Linda was known as a “straight shooter” and had a very blunt personality. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Elvis (Anna) Eplin of Whitman, WV; two daughters, Charlene (Timmy) Maynard and Darlene (Bozy) Tiller all of Whitman, WV; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Alex, Carrie, Marshall, Shannon, Amber, and Roger; her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Weston, Ryker, Lilly, Rosie, Gabriel, Isiah, Alaura, Jayden, Maliki, Alianna, Sophia, Adalynn, and Maverick; two brothers, Tommy (Mary) Epperhart of Cherry Tree, and Raymond (Gigi) Epperhart of Whitman, WV; three sisters, Brenda Ellen Block and Sharon (Rick) Epperhart both of Whitman, WV, and Donna (Jimi) Nixon of Valley View, OH; her best friend, Regina “Genny” Glock of Whitman, WV; and her fur babies, Penny, Tiny, and Stitch. Additionally, Linda leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.
To honor her wishes, her remains will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
