Linda Lou McCoy

Linda Lou McCoy, 81, of Uneeda, WV, departed this life on Friday, April 26, 2024, at CAMC Memorial Hospital at Charleston, WV.

She was born June 27, 1942, at Baisden, WV, a daughter of the late Howard and Maggie Mae New Blankenship.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Kazee; her second husband, Kenneth McCoy; one daughter, Lana Kazee Mitchell; and one grandson, Cameron Mitchell.

Linda was a homemaker. She enjoyed the outdoors, yardwork, and tending to her flowers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Earl (Jennifer) Kazee; three grandchildren, Savannah Mitchell, Hunter Mitchell, and Nick Kazee; one great-grandson, Dante Mitchell; one brother, Howard (Kim) Blankenship; and two sisters, Agnes Brumfield and Sandy (Richard) Goucher. Additionally, Linda leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of other dear relatives and friends.

To honor Linda’s wishes, her remains will be cremated, and there will be no services.
