Linda L. Martin Obituary

Mrs. Linda L. Martin, 75, of Henlawson, WV was born October 8, 1949, at Hartville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Campbell of Medina, Ohio.

Our precious loved one went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, March 29, 2025, at home, following an extended illness.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clifford “Snooker” Martin; one brother, Donnie Campbell; her parents-in-law, Boss and Mae Martin; two sisters-in-law, Sylverine (Arlis) Dingess and Ocia (Teddy) Nelson; and one brother-in-law, Chester “Buddy” Martin.

Those left to cherish her precious memory are her loving and devoted daughter, Tracy (Shawn) Wolford; two of her greatest treasures, whom she loved with all of her heart, her loving grandsons, Donny Wolford and Braxton Wolford;  three sisters, Betty Jo West, Shirley Quick and Bonnie McNeely; one brother, Robert Campbell;  sister-in-law, Ida Mae (Lloyd) Belcher; brothers-in-law, Clayton (Shirley) Martin, Roger “Butch” (Annette) Martin and Harvey “Buster” (Ty) Martin; three very special nieces, Candy Barrett, Vanessa Estep and Brenda Tedder.  Additionally, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.

She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother and mamaw, dedicating her life to caring for her family providing them with a loving and nurturing home.  She will be remembered for her courageous strength, love and kindness and all the countless sacrifices she made out of love for those she cared for.

She found joy in the simple moments—spending time with her family, playing cards, celebrating holidays and creating family traditions that will live on for generations.

She will be forever loved and so sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 4, 2025, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Pastor Joaquine Ooten and Pastor Roscoe Chafin officiating.
