Linda G. Ferrell

Linda G. Ferrell, 74, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, from St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV.

Born November 14, 1947, at Boone County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Clifford and Sylvia Macel Hager Ball.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Brian Scott Ferrell; one sister, Dottie Gibson; and one brother, Dean Ball.

Linda had a love for art, photography, painting, and drawing. Her greatest joys, however, were her two grandchildren, Zachary and Harli, and her great-granddaughter, Caraline.

Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Hank (Sue) Ferrell of Chapmanville, WV; her former husband, Dick Ferrell of Chapmanville, WV; her former daughter-in-law, Teresa Hanna of Madison, WV; one grandson, Zac Ferrell of Chapmanville, WV; one granddaughter, Harli Cabell of Madison, WV; her precious great-granddaughter, Caraline Cabell of Madison, WV; her siblings, Leon (Marlene) Ball of Hewett, WV, Cloanna Raines of Ohio, Roy Ball and Joy Preece both of Hewett, WV, Brenda Fowler of Chapmanville, WV, and Leslie Ball of Maryland; and one sister-in-law, Janice Ball of Hewett, WV. Additionally, Linda leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel in Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Donnie Wells officiating.

Burial will follow in Ferrell Cemetery at Lake, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
