Leslie Eugene Stollings, 84, of Chapmanville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2025.

Leslie was born January 24, 1941, at Verdunville, WV, a son of the late Ballard and Molly Ann Stollings.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Georgia Dingess and Dora Burgess.

Leslie was a longtime employee of GS Equipment in Cleveland, Ohio. He also worked as a police officer in Chapmanville and was a driver for Madison Ready Mix until his retirement. His hobbies included being outdoors on his family farm, enjoying wildlife, and spending time with his family. He met his lovely wife at the age of 18, and over the course of 65 years, they raised three daughters.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Stollings; three daughters, Vicki Taylor, Sandra (Michael) Welsh, and Kim (Christopher) Ward; three beautiful grandchildren, Vanessa Sherriff, Christian Ward, and Hannah Ward; two great-grandchildren, Marylinn Sherriff and Matthew Sherriff; two sisters, Francis Shirey and Sandra McKinney; and one brother, Jerry Stollings. Also left to cherish his memory are many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced in 2026.
