LeeAnna "Toots" Knam

LeeAnna Knam, fondly referred to as “Toots” has gone to her heavenly home. She was born July 24, 1941, at Stollings, WV. She went to her heavenly home on Monday, May 30, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis “Popeye” and Alta Belle Rose Christian; her son, Tom Christian; her brothers, Harold and Buddy Christian; her sisters, Betty Milam and Evelyn Miller; and her special nieces, Sara Mills and Elizabeth “Buffy” Browning.

Toots is survived by her daughter, Gail (Teddy) Coleman; grandchildren, Amber (Chad) Thompson, Erica Justice (Strikie Lewis), Kristina Christian, Megan Christian, and Brandon Christian; great-grandchildren, Hanna, Parker, and Preston Justice and Haley Thompson; great-great-grandchildren, Kolton and Ava Edwards; sisters, Faye Browning and Gertrude Carroll; a special nephew, Thomas Christian, whom she raised like a son, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Toots was loved by everyone who knew her. She had the most kind and humble spirit. Fairytales and her babies were among her favorite things. Toots had a love for the Lord and never failed to give Him all the praise and glory. She is so loved and will be forever missed.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to a charity for children because of her love for children.

A celebration of life will be held at Cornerstone Family Fellowship in Whitman, WV, on Saturday June 4, 2022, from 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chapmanville, WV.
