Larry Dee Martin

Larry Dee Martin, 60, of Henlawson, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 10, 2022, leaving suddenly from his earthly home after battling health issues.

He was born on February 28, 1962, at Logan County, WV, the son of the late Dee and Lou Martin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Deena Lou Martin, and one grandson, Anthony Bernard Maynard.

Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he also loved watching football and westerns. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family most.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 28 years, Kathy Martin; one son, Chaz (Emma) Martin; three daughters, Jennifer (Bernard) Maynard, Grace (Chris) Dingess, and Hanna (Kevin) Bass; his grandchildren, Kevin (Amanda) Maynard, Zachary (Madison) Maynard, Bella Maynard, Emilee Blevins, Wendy Watts, River Edward Bass, and two grandchildren due in April and May, Aspen Mae Martin and Riker Dee Bass; great-grandchildren, Lorenzo Zepplin Maynard and one due in March, Anthony Forrest Maynard; and a host of family and friends.

Larry’s wishes were to be cremated, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
