Lamanda “Mandi Lynn” Green, 42, of Pecks Mill, WV, departed this life on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at her residence.

Born November 30, 1979, at Logan, WV, she was the daughter of the late George Green, Sr., and Arbutus Miller Green.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Mandi loved the outdoors. She was an avid bow hunter, and her most recent score was 173 7/8. She was very devoted to her family. She also loved gardening. One of her favorite hobbies was painting peoples’ fingernails. Mandi loved to travel and most recently, her desire was to be a long-haul trucker and drive across the United States. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Renae Norman and Nicole Norman both of Chapmanville, WV; her grandbabies, Zaiden, Kaya, and River; her siblings, Donnie Green, George Green, Jr., Steve (Tosh) Green, and Christopher (Dani) Green all of Chapmanville, WV, Jessie White of Logan, WV, Kristy (Chipper) Rambo of Monroe County, WV, and Carrie (Donnie) Bowen of KY; special nieces, Harmonie Green, Emily Norman, Destiny Green, and Chelsey Green; one special aunt, Esta (Chris) Mitchell of KY; her best friend and big buddy, David Norman of Poca, WV; a special friend who brought her joy, Phillip Woody of Lake, WV. Additionally, Mandi leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2022, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Pastor Jason Adkins officiating.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In honor of Mandi’s wishes, her remains will be cremated and later interred in the Green Family Cemetery at Big Creek, WV.
