Kimberly Ann Green, 54, of Van, WV, departed this life on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at her residence.

She was born June 18, 1970, at Madison, WV, a daughter of Linda Rowe Moore of Madison, WV, and the late Melvin Ray Moore.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one son, Taylor Halstead; her paternal grandparents, Melvin M. and Geneva Moore; her maternal grandparents, Tom and Hattie Rowe; and her parents-in-law, Dorsey and Sharon Green.

Kimberly was a graduate of Scott High School and the University of Charleston School of Nursing, where she served as Valedictorian of her class on both occasions. For over 20 years, she worked as a registered nurse, touching the lives of countless individuals with her kindness and expertise. She had a love for all things antique, finding joy in the beauty and history of each piece she collected. She also enjoyed going to Snowshoe and vacationing at the beach with her husband and family. Above all, Kimberly was a loving and giving person who was very devoted to her family, and she loved her husband, children, and grandchildren more than anything.

Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother, are her husband, Shane Green; one son, David (Amanda) Sutphin of Madison, WV; one daughter, Katie (Kevin) Perdue of Madison, WV; her grandchildren, Jordan Sutphin, Jayse Perdue, Dahlia Perdue, Aidyn Perdue, Gwendolyn Sutphin, and Novalee Halstead; and one sister, Kelli (Scotty) Paynter of Madison, WV. Additionally, Kimberly leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Pastor Phil Rowe officiating.

Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park at Madison, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
