Kerry Jay Bias, 61, of Van, WV, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, at home.
He was born October 6, 1963, at Madison, WV, a son of the late Sturgil and Camille Hurley Bias.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one beloved son, Justin Warner; and one sister, Ella Long.
Kerry always lived life to the fullest. He was an avid fisherman and storyteller. He’s out there somewhere fishing and telling new stories.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Bias; children, Corey (Anna) Bias and Cammille Bias (Jace Barry); one brother, Kevin (Shelia) Bias; aunts, Barbara (Jerry) Sutphin and Gwen (Speedy) Smith; sister-in-law, Stephanie Looney-Toler; grandchildren, Scarlet Sanders-Bias, Charlie and Alice Moyer, Stella Bias, Wrynnley, and one on the way. Additionally, Kerry leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with a host of extended family and friends.
Friends may call for visitation from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
To honor Kerry’s wishes, he will be cremated following the visitation.
