Kennith Bailey

Kennith Allen Bailey, 73, of Yawkey, WV, departed this life on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, from Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY.

Born October 22, 1947, at Wayne County, WV, he was the son of the late James Bailey and Virginia Spears Bailey. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Yuedellia Bailey and one nephew, Ronnie Bailey.

Mr. Bailey worked as a coal miner for over 45 years. He enjoyed working on cars and riding his Honda Goldwings. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by four children: Bobby (Heather) Bailey, Kennith Bailey, Jr., Lori Bailey, and Sherry (John Boy) Wiley; his grandchildren: Bobby Bailey, Jr., Brandon Bailey, Courtney Fuller, Kendra Bailey, Dustin Bailey, Michael Bailey, Kaytlin Evans, Kevin Bailey, James Bailey, and Zandrea Wiley; two step-children: Miranda (John) Phillos and Jessica (Squeeze) Griffin; his siblings: Barbara (Louie) Grimmett and Carol Barrett; nieces and nephews: Tammy (Michael) Crosby, Billy (Becky) Barrett, and Michelle Barrett; his beloved canine, Pebbles; along with a host of family and friends.

Per his request, private family services will be held at a later date.
