Kathy Sue Steele Bryant, 71, of Logan, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 5, 2024, leaving from Trinity Healthcare Services at Logan, WV.

She was born June 1, 1953, at Holden, WV, a daughter of the late Frederick Bryant and Nora Skeens Bryant Gore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Frederick W. Bryant and Glenn Ray Bryant.

Kathy spent her career as a devoted longtime employee at the West Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles until her retirement. She also devoted many years to the Kiddie College in Logan, WV, where she was a favorite of the children. A woman of faith, she attended the Central United Baptist Church. Kathy was an animal lover at heart. She also loved yard sales. In her spare time, she could often be found reading and flipping through magazines she collected over the years. Above all, Kathy's world revolved around her children and grandchildren. She loved, adored, and cherished every one of them with a boundless heart. Her pride in their achievements was unmatched along with her support for their activities. The time spent with her family was Kathy's most precious moments.

Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Jennifer Steele of Logan, WV; one son, Jeremy (Kelly) Steele of Logan, WV; three grandchildren, Kendahl Steele-Bowen (Chase Walls), Zackary Steele, and Aidan Steele; two great-grandchildren, Reece White and Harlan Walls; two sisters, Judy Gail Farmer and Kimmy Ann Bryant; and one brother, Jackie Bryant. Additionally, Kathy leaves behind several aunts and uncles, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with a host of extended family and friends.

To honor Kathy’s wishes, a private family service will be held.
