Kathy Pauley

Kathy Pauley was born on November 16, 1959, at Sutton, WV, to her loving parents, Joe and Roxie Riffle. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at the age of 61.

Those waiting to greet her at the gates of Heaven include her parents, Joe and Roxie Riffle; her son, Dustin Pauley; her sisters, June Wilson and Marie Pauley; her brother, Sammy (Beulah) Jenkins; and her life-long best friend, Darlene Thompson.

Kathy’s contagious laughter and enthusiasm for life is something we will never forget. Some things Kathy had a strong love for was her coffee, all things purple, her dogs, and her son, Brandon, always painting her fingernails. Whatever Kathy might have been doing, she always made sure to tell you that she loved you.

Those left to cherish and carry on the memory of Kathy are her husband, Dallas Pauley; sons, Brandon (Patrick) Christian and David Pauley; sister, Linda (Terry) Stone, brother, Teddy (Wanda) Riffle; a very special lady whom she loved like her own daughter, Renee (Daniel) Jenkins. Additionally, Kathy also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, in-laws, and a multitude of extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Davita (Rachel Loftus, Tara McCallister, Ashley Ball, and Leea White) for being a second family to Kathy and taking such good care of her for almost seven years. We truly appreciate all of the love you have shown over the years.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel in Chapmanville, WV, with Pastors Ralph Kerns and Jason Adkins officiating.

Burial will follow in the Pauley Cemetery at Greenview, Danville, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
