Karen Sue Callison, 75, of Cyclone, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at her residence.

She was born May 2, 1949, at Bruno, WV, a daughter of the late Elmer and Francis Harris Lamb.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roger “Jim Tom” Lamb.

Sue devoted many years to her role at Burgess & Lohn Super Market in Man as a meat packer, where her work ethic was a testament to her character. Her love for her family was the cornerstone of her life. She nurtured her relationships with the same care and attention that she gave to her beloved pets, who were her constant companions and a source of immense joy. Her warmth and generosity of spirit were evident to all who knew her. Sue’s legacy is one of love, dedication, and service, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mark Callison; one son, Brian (Donna) Berry; two grandsons, Matthew John and Ryan Joseph; one sister, Joan Grimmett; and three brothers, William Elmer “Hawk” Lamb, Ronald “Cobb” Lamb, and Jerry Lamb. Additionally, Sue leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of family and friends.

To honor Sue’s wishes, she will be cremated, and there will be no services.
