Karalee Bryant, 68, of Ottawa, WV, celebrated her graduation to her Heavenly Home Wednesday, February 24, 2021. She was born November 29, 1952, at Madison, WV, a daughter of the late George and Helen Gynette Napier Browning.
She was a Sunday School teacher, bible school director and teacher, and a lifetime member of the Laurel City Freewill Baptist Church at Ottawa. Karalee had a strong faith, loved the Lord, and touched many lives with her steadfast witness and lived it every day with a strong character known to many. She had an unmatched passion for reading and gleaning from the Word of God, and she depended on this for her daily walk and fellowship with Christ.
Karalee was a hairdresser and sole proprietor of Karalee’s Shear Delight Beauty Shop.
In addition to her parents, Karalee was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Clyde David Bryant; one grandson, Jacob Jesse Bryant; and one sister, Sherry French.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three children: Cheryl Ann Bryant (James) Chambers, John David Bryant, and Christopher George (Jennifer) Bryant; siblings: Gynette Angle and Georgann Cook; grandchildren: Clyde Douglas Chambers, Heather Cleveland, Joshua David Bryant, Andrew Blair, and Aidan Blair; great-grandchildren: Mayleigh Sofia Cleveland and Levi William Cleveland; and a host of many nieces and nephews.
A Graduation Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2021, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel in Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Tony Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV.
Those that will serve as pallbearers are: Kevin Hill, Bryan Dunlap, Joshua Bryant, Douglas Chambers, Drew Blair, and Aidan Blair.
Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel in Chapmanville, WV.
