Julia Ann Vance Cline, 78, of Logan, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 15, 2025, leaving from the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV.
She was born January 4, 1947, at Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Woodrow and Virgie Workman Vance.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. “Bill” Cline; one sister, Minnie Bell Bryant, and her husband, Jerry; one brother, Freelin Vance and his wife, Mary; two nephews, Freelin “Bug” Vance, Jr., and Woody Vance; and her beloved fur baby, Teddy Lynn.
Julia's faith was a testament to her character. She was a devout Christian and devoted member of the Bradshaw House of Prayer. Her love for her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she cherished the time spent with them. Julia loved the outdoors and camping. An avid yard sale enthusiast, she delighted in the thrill of the hunt for hidden treasures. Julia was a beacon of light to all who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her kindness and her radiant spirit.
She is survived by nieces, Mary Ann (Mark) Bias, Marsha (Michael) Bradley, Sherry (David) Hale, Tammy (Timmy) Robertson, and Terry (Stephen) Meade; nephews, Jerry "Buddy" (Missy) Bryant, Jr., and Christopher Vance; special caretakers, Jerry "Buddy" Bryant, Jr., and Melissa "Missy" Bryant; one sister-in-law, Sheila Canterbury; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and one special friend, Scotty Ellis. Additionally, Julia leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.
Services and entombment will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Chapmanville, WV, with Pastor Scotty Watkins officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
