Judy Ann Dingess Hainor, 78, of Winfield, WV, formerly of Chapmanville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

She was born February 11, 1947, at Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Harry and Grace Neal Dingess.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Hainor; and two brothers, Simeon and Willie Dingess.

Judy spent many years as a secretary for Logan County Schools. A member of the Manila Church of Christ, Judy's faith followed her in every aspect of her life, guiding her actions and decisions with grace and love. Judy's love for her grandchildren knew no bounds, and she cherished each moment she spent with them. Time with her vibrant group of best friends, affectionately known as the "Steel Magnolias," was something Judy held close to her heart. Judy's adventurous side was expressed through her love of travel. Most importantly, Judy was recognized by her children as their steadfast #1 fan, always offering her unwavering support and encouragement. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Cathy (Jeff) Schoolcraft of Winfield, WV; one son, Ronnie (Ladawna) Hainor of Hickory, NC; her grandchildren, Cole (Alex) Schoolcraft, Cartney Schoolcraft, Matt Hainor, and Sophia Hainor; one great-grandson, Beckham; and her special brother-in-law and sisters-in-law. Additionally, Judy leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV, with Mel Gresham officiating.

Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
